(pursuant to art. 20 of M.D. 100 of 28.04.2017)
- Anchoring is not permitted in Zones A.
- In Zones B and C anchoring is not permitted in areas of significant environmental interest characterised by valuable biocoenoses, such as Posidonia oceanica meadows, Cymodocea nodosa and coralligenous formations, suitably identified by the managing body.
- In Zones B and C anchoring is permitted for small boats, recreational craft, fishing-tourism vessels and small-scale artisanal fishing vessels, exclusively in areas characterised by inert sandy seabeds, suitably identified by the managing body, by subsequent measure, with prior approval by the Ministry.
- In relation to the environmental protection needs underlying the founding decree, in order to determine the carrying capacity of the area in relation to anchoring activity, the managing body monitors the marine protected area and adapts, by subsequent measures after consulting the Reserve Commission, and with prior approval by the Ministry, the regulation of anchoring activities, in particular establishing the prohibition of access to certain areas for specific periods and a maximum number of small boats and recreational craft.
- Nautical craft must comply with the provisions for recreational navigation referred to in the preceding art. 18.
The areas for anchoring identified by the Managing Body are divided into:
- Free anchoring areas.
- Regulated anchoring areas, active from 1 May to 31 October.
