Regulation on photographic, cinematographic and television filming activities

(pursuant to art. 14 of M.D. 100 of 28.04.2017)
  1. Within the marine protected area, amateur photographic, cinematographic and television filming activities are permitted.
  2. Professional photographic, cinematographic and television filming for commercial or profit-making purposes, except in cases of prevailing public interest in information, must be authorised in advance by the managing body.
  3. Filming is permitted according to the provisions and limitations indicated by the managing body at the time of the authorisation, and in any case without causing disturbance to the animal and plant species and to the natural environment of the marine protected area.
  4. Staff in charge of surveillance may prevent the execution and continuation of the activities referred to in this article, where they deem them prejudicial to the protection of the natural and cultural heritage and to the tranquillity of the places.
  5. The managing body may acquire a copy of the professional photographic and audiovisual material produced, for justified institutional reasons and with the consent of the author, also for the purpose of free use, subject to the citation of the source.
  6. The publication and production of photographic and audiovisual materials must bear in full the name of the marine protected area.
  7. For the purpose of issuing the authorisation, with a maximum annual validity, for carrying out the activities referred to in this article, applicants must pay the managing body a fee as a secretarial charge, according to the methods indicated in the following art. 35.
